Cultivated in the misty Marcala highlands. Velvety body, golden caramel, and sweet stone fruit.
Honduras has earned international acclaim among specialty coffee roasters, and the Marcala mountain region produces some of the finest lots in Central America. Grown at altitudes up to 5,500 feet in fertile volcanic mountain soil, this 100% Arabica lot undergoes rigorous hand-sorting and washing. We roast this bean to a rich, balanced medium profile that showcases its creamy mouthfeel, notes of golden toffee, warm brown sugar, and sweet apricot stone fruit with a velvety milk chocolate finish.

✨ TRY IT: Marcala Toffee Oat Cortado
Ingredients:
- 2 oz concentrated espresso-style brewed Honduras Coffee (Moka pot or Espresso machine)
- 2 oz steamed barista oat milk (light silky microfoam)
- Small pinch of brown sugar or demerara crystals
Method: Pull a concentrated double shot of Honduras coffee into a 4 oz cortado glass. Stir in a pinch of brown sugar. Pour equal parts steamed oat milk over the top for a dense, silky sip that tastes like melted toffee fudge.
Tasting Tip: Honduras Marcala takes milk and plant-based creamers exceptionally well because its natural toffee and brown sugar notes bind with dairy proteins to amplify sweetness without sugar.
